Many of our visitors love to indulge their creative side at the Bosque Village. We welcome artists and craftsters of all types, from painters to stone sculptures. We have had weavers, painters, potters, wood carvers, and photographers make use of our setting to create some amazing pieces of art.
Some art materials are available, but to use our professional supplies we do charge a small fee.
Art and Crafts Classes
On request we can arrange classes for visitors interested in learning a new skill. Local women teach how to make pine needle baskets and carvers teach how to make amazing wooden masks. Visitors must request classes at least three days in advance to allow teachers time to prepare.
The Art Studio
Our 1300 square foot studio (122.5 square meters) fills the needs of our ever growing list of visitors interested in creating art during their stay in the Bosque Village. The studio has a translucent roof and provides a warm and well lit space to work during the day. The studio also has some electricity so work can be done at night.
