Photography

We love and encourage photography at the Bosque! Digital photography classes are available on request.
We see photography as a great method for rapid aesthetic and compositional development for artists of all kinds.
All of the photos on this website were taken by residents and visitors at the Bosque Village.

Portrait Photography

We often have models and photographers onsite so that anyone interested may have a portrait session. Learning how to take portrait photos and pose well are skills which visitors can develop at the Bosque.

Macro Photography

Due to our diverse variety of flora and fauna, macro photography (close-up photography) is really fun to practice. There are great mushrooms, flowers, plants and insects that visitors can discover and photograph.

HDR

HDR, or high dynamic range imaging, is a method of digital photo manipulation that allows for a greater range of exposures to be present in a given image. HDR is a great way to show the visual depth of a scene through a photo that would normally contain segments that are over or under exposed.

Night Photography

We love to experiment with lighting for night-time photography.

Abstract Photography

A great way for photographers to develop artistically, abstract photography is fun to practice at the Bosque. Our creative environment includes many objects to inspire the abstract artist.

Nature Photography

Probably the most obvious type of photography to practice at the Bosque, nature photography allows visitors to enjoy the environment around them and take part of that environment with them in photo form.

Time Lapse Photography

Time lapse photography is a technique in which a series of photos is captured in a time period much slower than the viewer will see them. Some examples of time lapse photography you may experiment with at the Bosque are sunrise shots, flowers opening in the morning, and cloud movement through the sky.
