Today I took my first dump in the composting toilet! Yay! Everything seemed to come out ok and I am now among the worlds elite smart guys who doesn’t combine shit with drinking water!

Our design seems pretty great. Plans to build a few more in the next years to come. Hopefully will get the plans online so others can use them.

An organization named Gira came out and built an outdoor stove on the terraza. I took many photos of all stages so we can create them on our own later. It took them a full day.

The idea behind the stove is that it uses very little firewood and does not produce smoke in the cooking area.

Later we will build outdoor stoves down near the Casita and maybe some of the cabanas can have them too. Good for people to be able to cook outside.
